Dirty Martini (December 30)

The Dirty Martini is always a classic! I’m sure I’ve mentioned this before, but it’s gin, not vodka. Sometimes I’ll use a “whisper of vermouth” as one of my old roommates used to say, but Elizabeth hardly ever does.

This one is vermouth-free (Dry, not Rosso – my nemesis!) and uses really delicious olives that Elizabeth procured: they’re stuffed with both garlic and jalapeño slices!!!

This was a sleek, elegant winner!


  • 3 oz. Gin

  • 1 oz. Olive Brine

  • Olives to garnish – ours feature garlic and jalapeño centers!!


  • Shake liquids in a shaker with ice until satisfied.
  • Pour into a chilled glass and garnish with these delicious olives!
