By beloved nocino, which Elizabeth poured for us as an after-dinner drink.

This one is homemade by one of Elizabeth’s dear friends and neighbors. The first nocino I ever had was also homemade, according to Italian tradition – on the saint’s day and everything. I wrote about it when we made our Nocciano cocktail.

This isn’t in cocktail form, just a liqueur to sip quietly after a lovely meal.
